Job Description:
Company 3 Animation is seeking a highly skilled 3D Rigger for an animated show. The role of Rigger is to construct control rigs for characters, sets and props amongst a team of international artists.
Role Responsibilities:
Work within established procedures to build procedural rigs, improve and develop tools, and to find creative solutions for problems that may arise.
Maintain the rigs as they move through the pipeline.
Produce high-end feature quality rigs while meeting the performance needs of the film’s production. This includes properly executing changes and notes from the Rigging Supervisor, Rigging Lead, and other key creative on a project in a timely manner.
Help meet team targets and quotas.
The Rigger position reports to the Rigging Lead.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Animation, Film, Art or equivalent professional work experience
Working knowledge of 3D rigging in Maya. Experience with other programs a plus.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve.
Strong Mathematical skills.
Knowledge of Python scripting language.
Familiarity with animation pipelines.
