POSITION SUMMARY:
SDFX Studios is looking for a Compositor to join its team! As a Compositor at SDFX Studios, you’ll be a champion at combining live action and computer-generated elements to create final images that meet the creative direction of the client, VFX Supervisor and Compositing Supervisor
MAIN DUTIES:
Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to evaluate the creative direction and technical approach of assigned shots.
Perform all tasks associated with the compositing process including roto, 2D tracking, Blue/Green screen keying, layering elements and color grading.
Review and implement feedback quickly and effectively to ensure shots are delivered to the highest of standards and on schedule.
Maintain the overall look, color balance and quality of assigned shots and sequences to create uniformity of all finished work.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Previous experience as a compositor in episodic TV, commercials, or feature films.
Professional working knowledge of Nuke.
Previous experience and strong understanding of stereo compositing techniques.
Familiarity with Deep compositing inside of Nuke.
Strong sense of color, lighting, and composition.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take criticism, and work under high pressure with short deadlines.
