DescriptionWe present a virtual reality display system simulator that accurately reproduces the gaze-contingent distortions of any viewing optic, conduct the first user study of perceptual requirements for eye-tracked optical distortion correction, and introduce a binocular distortion metric to analyze key trends identified in the user study.
