DescriptionArtists often wish to reshape vector clip art by changing the locations, proportions, or scales of different elements while preserving global and local structure. We formulate reshaping as a constrained variational optimization problem and solve it using a novel as-locally-uniform-as-possible reshaping algorithm. Study participants preferred our outputs by a 6:1 ratio over outputs from existing alternatives.
