DescriptionWe present the first robust method to quantize volume parametrizations, for the generation of 3D integer-grid maps. Leveraging the motorcycle complex, a novel non-conforming volume partition, all integer DOFs are expressed in a differential manner and safely optimized. Applied to hexahedral remeshing, this allows generating meshes with significantly improved flexibility and robustness.
