DescriptionEven wildly deforming objects can feature non-deforming regions. Adaptive Rigidification allows for order-of-magnitude improvements in simulation performance by exploiting elements that are not actively deforming. This novel and intuitive technique automatically discerns deforming regions at runtime, freeing users from the need to make this choice ahead of simulation time.
