DescriptionWe present a cut-cell fluid simulation framework that handles inherently difficult boundary geometries, such as non-manifold, open, or thin features. Our novel particle-in-cell approach is enabled by combining geometric cut-cells, which can resolve these challenging geometries with the Virtual Element Method, which can represent polynomial functions in polyhedral cells.
