DescriptionWe introduce a new approach to cutting a complex 3D domain by arbitrary planes efficiently. We substitute topological inference for the error-prone numerical ordering used in previous methods and revert to exact numerical evaluations only in the rare cases for which it is strictly necessary to guarantee exactness.
