DescriptionWe introduce a general and efficient sag-free initialization method for deformable simulations with self-collision and frictional contacts. This prevents the undesirable sagging under gravity as soon as the simulation begins. We show examples with mass-spring systems, cloth simulations, the finite element method, the material point method, and position-based dynamics.
