DescriptionFinding distortion-minimizing bijective maps between surfaces of arbitrary genus is a challenging problem in graphics. We propose a simple method that does not involve any intermediate domains such as a sphere or a plane but works directly on the original surfaces by making use of intrinsic triangulations.
