DescriptionWe introduce a new modeling and rendering framework for iridescent rock dove neck feathers, which abstracts the feathers' hierarchical geometry and multi-scale reflectance into a microfacet-like BSDF. The model does not require precomputation and can be integrated into rendering pipelines that represent feather geometry down to the barb level.
