DescriptionThis paper introduces an efficient and practical model to simulate butterfly flights with wing-abdomen interaction. It simulates dynamic maneuvering control of the butterfly through a force-based model that includes both aerodynamics force and vortex force. Various simulations demonstrate that it can simulate realistic butterfly flight motions in various real-world settings.
