DescriptionWe prototyped High-low Tech Ombro-Cinéma, which extends Ombro-Cinéma (a scrolling barrier-grid animation device developed in the 1920s) with an embedded system. Such an investigation to reproduce an obsolete device with digital technologies could be an interesting opportunity to reconsider the relationship between narrative and tangible interfaces of our time.
