James Bern is a Postdoctoral Researcher at MIT in the Distributed Robotics Laboratory. Previously, he was a PhD researcher at the ETH Computation Robotics Lab and a Master's student at Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on design, modeling and control of soft robotic systems, together with the interactions such systems enable.
