Kartik [https://cs.stanford.edu/~kach/] is a PhD student at MIT studying visual computing systems with Jonathan Ragan-Kelley and Josh Tenenbaum. Previously, he was an undergrad at Stanford University studying computer science, physics, and English literature — islands he holds to be the lost children of one great continent. His research is supported by a Hertz Foundation Fellowship, a Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship, and the National Science Foundation’s GRFP.
