Zachary Ferguson
Biography
Zachary Ferguson is a PhD candidate at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. He is a member of the Geometric Computing Lab where he works with Professor Daniele Panozzo on research in computer graphics, physical simulation, and digital fabrication. The goal of his research is to design robust algorithms that reduces the amount of interactive user work, allowing the automatic simulation of a large number of designs and scenarios. His research has been recognized by the Jacob T. Schwartz Ph.D. Fellowship (2021), Dean's Dissertation Fellowship (2022–2023), and Adobe Research Fellowship (2022).
