Jasmin is of Hong Kong Chinese and British descent and holds a BA in International Development Studies from McGill University and a Master’s in Development Practice from the University of Winnipeg. She completed the Vancouver Film School’s VR/AR Design and Development program in 2021 in which she designed a proof of concept multiplayer VR escape room for a UK based client. Jasmin is currently Program Manager at the Aabijijiwan New Media Lab, where she facilitates workshops and residencies specifically designed to increase the participation of BIPOC innovators in the new media space.
