Stefanie Mueller is an Associate Professor in the MIT EECS department joint with MIT Mechanical Engineering and Head of the HCI Engineering Group at MIT CSAIL. For her research, Stefanie has received an NSF CAREER Award, an Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, a Microsoft Research Faculty Fellowship, and was named a Forbes 30 under 30 in Science. Stefanie’s work has been awarded several Best Paper and Honorable Mention Awards at the ACM CHI and ACM UIST conferences, the premier venues in Human-Computer Interaction. Her work was covered in top news outlets, such as New Scientist, BBC, and FastCompany.
