Callie Holderman is an engineer turned architect, building intuitive and responsible AR developer platforms.

Holderman served as the 2021 ACM SIGGRAPH Immersive Chair after over a decade of various SIGGRAPH involvement. Formerly leading Developer Experience at Magic Leap, she brought AR content to market for Royal Shakespeare Company, Meow Wolf, ILMxLAB, Weta Workshop and more.

Her foray into security came deploying secure IoT activations for live events including the NFL SuperBowl Experience and Madison Square Garden. Here she contributed open-source encryption methods for IoT devices. With AR nearing mass-market adoption, she fosters dialog with leaders to encourage respectful privacy choices.
