Biography
Dave Shreiner leads one of Unity Technologies’ low-level graphics driver teams, as well as being an adjunct faculty at Sonoma State University. He’s been developing and teaching using OpenGL, Metal, and similar technologies for over three decades, including over 35 presentations at SIGGRAPH. In addition to developing courses, he’s also been a coauthor of numerous books including the OpenGL Programming Guide (3rd-8th Editions), the OpenGL ES Programming Guide, WebGL Insights, and Interactive Computer Graphics: A Top-Down Approach using WebGL. Dave has also volunteered for SIGGARPH in numerous roles including 2014 conference chair and chairing the course committee several times.
