Jason Whitley is a Senior Instructional Designer for the AIM-Bio program in the Biomanufacturing Training Education Center where he focuses on visual and interactive methods for education. He has won multiple Hermes Awards.

His portrait of Charlotte Hawkins Brown is part of the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum collection. He sometimes illustrates books, comics, book covers, and teaches teaches at the NCSU College of Art + Design.
