Received Ph.D in Information Science and Technology from University of Tokyo in 2010. He is Principle Investigator of KMD Embodied Media Project, where drives multiple researches on sharing, augmenting, and creating bodily experiences by applying the emerging technologies on virtual reality and haptics.
He also serve as a board member at Virtual Reality Society of Japan, Executive Director at Superhuman Sports Society, Vice chair for conference at IEEE Technical Committee on Haptics, Associate Program Manager at Japan Science and Technology Agency, and Technical Advisor at Telexistence, inc.
