Eakta Jain is an Associate Professor of Computer and Information Science and Engineering at the University of Florida. She holds PhD/MS degrees in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon and B.Tech.(EE) from IIT Kanpur. Industry experience includes Texas Instruments R&D labs, Disney Research Pittsburgh, and Walt Disney Animation Studios. She has been a Technical Program Chair for ACM Symposium on Eye Tracking Research and Applications and ACM/Eurographics Symposium on Applied Perception. Her research team works in the areas of graphics and virtual reality, digital avatars, human factors in the future of work and transportation, with an emerging focus on privacy and security.
