Frankie Stellato
Biography
Frankie Stellato is a talented Animation Supervisor with over a decade of experience animating and supervising feature films, episodics and commercials. After beginning his career with “The Incredible Hulk” in 2007 in Toronto, Frankie worked at Digital Domain’s Vancouver studio supervising animation and helping to further develop tools for the studio’s robust pipeline. Adding Animation Department Supervisor to his role, Frankie is now working from Digital Domain’s Montreal office where he oversees the animation department and continues to supervise on shows in house. With a background as a generalist spanning all departments from previs to compositing with a focus on animation, Frankie believes that technology and visual effects work in tandem driving one another.
Energetic and driven, Frankie is always pushing the bar to improve the quality of deliverables and his relationships with his clients and team. Utilizing his understanding of the pipeline from front-to-back, he takes a conversational approach with clients to truly realize their vision. Most recently Frankie worked as Animation Supervisor on “Spider-Man: No Way Home” where he and his team, along with DD's previs team, helped flesh out the outstanding Alexander Hamilton Bridge sequence. Other projects under Frankie’s roster include the Marvel Studios’ series “Wanda Vision” and the HPA award-winning film “Black Widow,” a 45 second commercial for Ubisoft’s “Tom Clancy’s The Division 2”, DC’s “Aquaman, and ” Netflix’s “Lost in Space” season 3. Frankie has also received multiple awards including a Telly Award for his work on Ubisoft’s “Tom Clancy’s The Division 2” and an HPA award for his work on Lost In Space.
