Biography
Noah Pisner helps lead immersive and spatial storytelling at The New York Times. In recent months, his team has reconstructed a firestorm, digitally sculpted Olympic performances using MoCap, and traced the spread of coronavirus though a classroom. His work explores ways in which technologies like 3-D cameras, spatial audio and AR/VR wearables can benefit journalism. Noah holds a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard. He worked in the financial and entertainment industries before joining Quartz as a multimedia editor in 2017. In 2020, he joined The Times.
