Yoav Sterman is a computational designer and researcher. He is the head of the design lab at the Architecture and Town Planning faculty at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. In his lab and with his team of researchers, Yoav investigates how the correlation of computational designer and digital fabrication can create new workflows and products that can be customized and personalized. Additionally, his research focuses on digital craft and how to develop new design tools that will empower designers and makers to work with digital fabrication machines creatively.
