Craig Schroeder is an assistant professor in computer science at the University of California Riverside.
He received his Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University in 2011. After graduation, he did a postdoc in applied mathematics at UCLA, where he was awarded the Chancellor's Award for Postdoctoral Research in 2013. He has collaborated with Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Animation Studios, for which he received screen credits in Pixar's "Up" and Disney's "Frozen." He actively publishes in both computer graphics and computational physics, and his primary areas of interest are the material point method and robust numerical methods.
