Arata Horie received the B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan, in 2017, the M.S. degree in information science from the Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 2019 and the Ph.D. degree in engineering from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 2022. He is currently a project assistant professor in at the Information Somatics Lab at the University of Tokyo Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Japan. His research interests include haptics, human augmentation, and human-computer interaction/integration.
