Adebunmi Odefunso is a data scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York where she works on developing machine learning algorithms that will make cancer detection easier for radiologists. Prior to this, she worked as a database developer for the Graduate school of Purdue University, Indiana as well as a data analyst with DeepHow Corporation. Adebunmi obtained a PhD in Technology from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, specializing in computer vision. She has a strong interest in intangible cultural heritage preservation, artificial intelligence, and research.
