Contributor Benefits

The Recognition Policy for Contributors is designed to acknowledge and show appreciation for contributions to the conference. The policy provides discounts on early registration fees as summarized in the table below. The discounts are applied:

To the early registration fees regardless of when registration is completed.
Check your programs “upon acceptance” tab, which list the requirements for participation as a virtual, in-person participant or both.
Keep in mind when choosing a registration category, what registration level is needed to get into your presentation.

APPY HOUR

Eligibility: One contributor per accepted demo
Contributor Registration Benefit: 100% Experience Plus registration
Registration level needed to attend this program: Experience registration and above

ART GALLERY

Eligibility: Up to two contributors per accepted piece
Contributor Registration Benefit: 100% Full Conference registration
Registration level needed to attend this program: Experience registration and above

ART PAPERS (LONG AND SHORT)

Eligibility: One contributor per accepted paper
Contributor Registration Benefit: 25% off any registration category
Registration level needed to attend this program: Experience Plus registration and above

COURSES – LONG

Eligibility: Up to two contributors per accepted long course
Contributor Registration Benefit: Depends on where Course is being presented, ie virtual or in-person.
If Course is presented virtually: 100% Virtual registration
If Course is presented in-person: 100% Full Conference registration

Contributor Registration Benefit: 50% off any registration category
To attend the VR Theater: A separate in-person ticket is required.

IMPLEMENTATION DETAILS

Contributors will receive a single code for the appropriate number of registrations listed above. Discount codes and instructions for online registration will be available mid-June.

Each contributor gets the highest discount available without aggregating discounts for multiple presentations. Discounts are ONLY transferable to an individual who is a co-contributor or co-presenter of the work and recognized as such on the SIGGRAPH 2022 web site.

If a contributor’s employer is willing to pay for registration, SIGGRAPH encourages the contributor to waive the recognition discount. Any overall savings goes to enhance the overall attendee experience at the conference.
