If your work has been conditionally accepted to be presented during SIGGRAPH 2022 either virtually or in person and you want to take advantage of the early bird pricing discounts, please note that contributors who will receive a contributor code will be able to use that code at any time online in the registration portal or onsite in Vancouver to register for the conference at the early bird rate.

Your health and safety is a priority for SIGGRAPH 2022. SIGGRAPH 2022 is following provincial COVID-19 guidelines related to vaccination, masking, and testing. Please visit the Health & Safety page for additional information.

The following ACM COVID-19 Disclosure and Liability Waiver was included in the registration process for SIGGRAPH 2022:

I acknowledge that I derive personal satisfaction and a benefit by virtue of my participation and/or attendance at this Event and I willingly engage in this Event.

In connection with the exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 at the Event, I hereby forever release, waive and discharge any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature against ACM and its affiliated partners and sponsors, including in each case, without limitation, its and their directors, officers, employees, volunteers and agents (the “Released Parties”), either in law or in equity, to the fullest extent permissible by law. This waiver includes damages or losses caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties. This waiver includes, but is not limited to, death, bodily injury, illness, economic loss or out of pocket expenses, or loss or damage to property, which I, my heirs, assignees, next of kin and/or legally appointed representatives may hereinafter accrue on my behalf, which arise or may hereafter arise from my participation in the Event.

Participants and volunteers at the Event agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and, contact ACM at conferencestaff@acm.org if you are diagnosed with COVID-19 within 10 days after participating or volunteering at the Event.

To enter Vancouver, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and note your status in the ArriveCAN app 72 hours before arriving in Canada.

You must also note your reason for travel in the ArriveCAN app. It is recommended that you select “discretionary/optional” travel for attending a convention, meeting, or tradeshow.

There are two independently operated parking facilities located within the Vancouver Convention Centre. These lots operate 24 hours per day, seven days a week on a first come, first served basis. For any parking inquiries, please contact the appropriate provider.

East Building (999 Canada Place)

The East building has 750 stalls and is operated by WestPark (WestPark Lot #034 — Canada Place). WestPark can be reached at 604 699 7275 or vancouver@westpark.com. View rates at canadaplace.westpark.com/rates.html.

West Building (1055 Canada Place)

The West building has 440 stalls and is operated by Impark (Impark Lot #1940). Impark can be reached at 604 331 7288. View rates at lots.impark.com.

On-site parking in any area outside of the designated parking facilities, including Vancouver Convention Centre’s Loading Facilities, is prohibited.

Parents should contact local Vancouver child care agencies, and hotels should be able to provide recommendations. If your future computer graphics whiz is tagging along to SIGGRAPH with you, please be aware of the following requirements:

Registration Requirements

All children must register for the conference, regardless of age. Each paid adult may register up to three children, age 12 and under, at no charge. To register your children at no charge, please go to the Registration area and locate the Registration Customer Service counter. Staff will assist you in getting your children registered. Children 13 and over will be required to purchase their registration.

Attendance Restrictions

There are no age-based restrictions to attend the conference. However, children 17 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult at all times.

Lost Children

Unattended and lost children are to be taken to the conference management office until parents/guardians can be located. Conference management staff will notify SIGGRAPH 2022 security and instruct them to advise their staff with respect to the discovered child, as parents will probably approach security personnel with inquiries.

SIGGRAPH 2022 offers complimentary Wi-Fi for conference attendees. More information will be shared as we approach the conference.

All SIGGRAPH 2022 merchandise must be picked up at Merchandise Pickup in Vancouver. No refunds will be given for items that are not claimed at the conference, nor will unclaimed items be shipped after the conference.

For those attending virtually, a selection of merchandise will be available for purchase via Zazzle only. Check back soon for more information.

The Vancouver Convention Centre has a variety of concessions and cafes. There also are several food outlets across the street from the Vancouver Convention Centre East and West buildings at the Waterfront Food Court (below the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel).

SIGGRAPH 2022 employs professional photographers and videographers and reserves the right to use all images and videos that these content creators document during the conference for publication and promotion of ACM SIGGRAPH events. Additionally, this event’s virtual sessions, chats, questions, and answers will be captured and made available for later viewing. By registering to attend SIGGRAPH 2022, you are granting permission to be recorded during sessions.

Additionally, it is important to recognize that many of the words, images, sounds, objects, and technologies presented at SIGGRAPH are protected by copyrights or patents. They are owned by the people who created them. Please respect their intellectual property rights by refraining from making recordings from your device or taking screenshots. If you are interested in the content, feel free to reach out to the contributor or visit the ACM Digital Library after the event, where content will be made available.

Finally, SIGGRAPH is an open and accepting environment, whether in-person or online, and we ask that participants operate with dignity and respect for all who have come to learn, grow, and connect.

Registration substitutions can be made by sending an email from the registered email address to registration-s2022@SIGGRAPH.org with the original confirmation and the contact information of the new attendee. Once the name change is made, the new attendee will receive an email asking them to go into the system to agree to the SIGGRAPH 2022 recording and anti-harassment policies in order to finalize the substitution.

Cancellation requests for refunds must be made in writing and received on or before 8 July 2022. No refunds will be issued after this date. There is a refund processing fee of $75 USD. Any purchases at or below this amount will not be refunded. Email refund requests to registration-s2022@SIGGRAPH.org.

If you are able to contribute any amount to help support students and those who are currently unemployed in our industry so they may attend SIGGRAPH 2022 at a reduced rate, we would appreciate it. What happens if you lose your conference badge? We suggest you first check with lost and found, as that is where all lost items, including badges, are kept. If, however, your badge has not been turned in, the ACM SIGGRAPH policy is that no badges are reprinted for the conference. Therefore, if you lose your badge and it is not turned in to lost and found, you must register again for the conference.
